I am a recent graduate of Carleton University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and completed my Honours Thesis in Self-Determination Theory and Motivation under the supervision of Dr. Shelley Brown and Dr. Tim Pychyl. During my undergraduate studies, I volunteered in the Neuroscience of Imagination, Cognition, and Emotion Research Lab and worked as a research assistant on both qualitative and quantitative projects with Dr. Mirella De Civita.
I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University while working with a non-profit organization, Sami Fruits Foundation Pour Les Petits, where I support neurodiverse children. I have a strong interest in staying up to date with emerging research in psychology and neuroscience and am continually working toward building a career in a clinical setting where I can support others.
In my clinical work, I strive to bring warmth, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills into every session. I aim to create a compassionate, non-judgmental, and inclusive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered.
